Chloe joined Pro Vision in June 2014. She has a BA (Hons) degree in English and Film from Southampton Solent University.

Chloe is part of the administration team helping in the smooth running of the practice. As well as this she assists in providing internal IT support and helps in the graphic design process producing documents and display boards.

She enjoys Zumba Fitness classes and being creative in arts and crafts.

Kerri CrutchfieldBA (Hons), MSc MRTPI
Senior Planner

Kerri holds a BA (Hons) degree in Geography from the University of Birmingham and an MSc in Spatial Planning from Oxford Brookes University.  As a Chartered Town Planner Kerri has been a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since 2017. 

Kerri started her planning career in Local Government where she worked at Hart District Council for nine years starting as a Planning Officer and progressing through to Principal Planning Officer. Kerri started at Pro Vision in 2016 as a Senior Planning Consultant.

Kerri has experience across many development sectors, including residential, commercial, leisure/tourism and rural planning including rural diversification. Kerri is experienced in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals, preparation of planning appraisals, and the promotion of sites through the development plan process.

 In her own time Kerri enjoys running, travelling and spending time with her family.

Louisa JonesBSc (Hons), MSc, MCIEEM
Ecology Director

Louisa has worked in the ecological consultancy sector for over nine years. She has been involved in a broad range of consultancies before joining Pro Vision in 2019 providing ecological advice for projects from small scale housing extensions to large residential developments. This work has involved various sectors in addition to residential and including rail and highways.

Louisa has Natural England class licences for bats, great crested newts, dormice and barn owls. She is experienced at preparing mitigation strategies and mitigation licences where required. Louisa has a particular interest in ornithology and conducts and designs surveys including breeding bird, winter bird, vantage points and high tide counts as well as species specific surveys.

Gareth JohnsBSc (Hons) MSc MRTPI
Associate Director

Gareth is a chartered town planner with a strong track record of delivering planning permissions across a range of developments, including residential, commercial and rural schemes.

Gareth has experience of all aspects of the planning process from advising clients on development potential, and preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals. He is also adept at promoting client’s land interests through the development plan process.

Gareth was elected as a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in 2014 and joined Pro Vision  in October 2020. He has nearly 10 years’ experience working predominantly in the private sector. He joins from a national house builder and previously spent six years at Savills’ Reading office.

Outside work, Gareth enjoys sport and is an avid supporter of the Welsh Rugby Team.

David CassonMZoo
Assistant Ecologist

David joined Pro Vision in October 2021 as an Assistant Ecologist. He has a Master’s in Zoology with Herpetology and since graduating has been focused on gaining experience in Ecology. Since joining Pro Vision he has become capable in acoustic analysis, Geographic Information Systems mapping and is working towards his first protected species licences. David is eager to continue to learn and gain experience within ecology and is excited to grow with the company to become a dependable and proficient ecologist.

Richard DouglasBSc (Hons), DipArch, PgDip, RIBA
Architecture Director

Richard is a Chartered Architect with over 10 years' experience in the development industry. He initially graduated from the University of Bath before achieving Distinctions in both his Diploma in Architecture at the University of Portsmouth and his Part 3 exams at Kingston University.

Richard has designed a wide range of mainly residential schemes, including one-off bespoke houses, apartments and large scale, urban masterplans. He has been at Pro Vision since 2007, being made Architecture Director in 2021. He is passionate about architecture as a force that can shape the urban and rural environments, creating beautiful places for people to inhabit and be inspired by.

Alongside his architectural role, Richard is the Head of Technology for the business, where he is involved in the strategic implementation and management of IT infrastructure. He also manages Operations, focusing on how the business functions to ensure that the greatest efficiency and the best possible outcomes through our business's practices can be achieved for the company and our clients.

A keen sportsman, outside of work Richard is also very involved in his church, plays piano, paints and writes.

Katherine MilesBA (Hons), MSc, MRTPI
Director

Katherine holds a BA (Hons) degree in Town Planning from the University of Westminster, and an MSc in Town and County Planning from the University of Reading.  She joined Pro Vision in 2014 before in January 2020 becoming a Director.

As a Chartered Town Planner Katherine has been a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since 2007.  Before joining Pro Vision, Katherine started her career at Vail Williams as a Graduate Planner and worked at Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council as a Senior Planner.  She was recognised as a “Rising Star” by the Council and selected for the District Council’s Network staff development program in 2013.

Katherine has a wide range of experience in the preparation and management of planning applications for major residential developments.  She has appeared as an expert planning witness at Planning Inquiries for Basingstoke Council and at the Examination in Public for the West Berkshire Housing Site Allocations DPD and the North Northamptonshire Joint Core Strategy.  Katherine has also represented clients in securing allocations through Neighbourhood Plans including appearing at the Stratfield Mortimer Neighbourhood Plan Examination.

Outside of work, Katherine enjoys sailing and swimming, and taking on extreme challenges whilst abroad – such as ziplining across Whistler Mountain and Ice Climbing in Alaska. 

Claire Hayes-Anderson
Practice Administrator

Claire has worked for Pro Vision for over 15 years, administratively supporting the Planning, Architectural and Ecology teams. 

Her spare time is spent divided between family gatherings, taking every opportunity to be outside and enjoying her vintage VW Beetle and Campervan.   The furthest trip so far being to Spa in Belgium, racking up over 1000 miles in a 1969 VW Camper called Pearl.

Sarah joined Pro Vision in October 2021 having worked in private sector planning consultancy for over nine years. She is a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since gaining her accreditation in 2016.

She has experience in delivering a range of large and small scale projects across the UK across a variety of sectors including commercial and industrial uses through to mixed-use schemes, residential, and leisure developments.

James IlesBSc (Hons), MSc, MA, MRTPI
Director

James joined Pro Vision in 2016 and has been a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since 2009.

He has experience across many development sectors, including residential, commercial, higher education and leisure/tourism. His experience includes projects across the UK, including private and public sector schemes and private/public sector collaborations on Simplified Planning Zones and Local Development Orders. James also has five years of experience in local government, including preparing local development plans.

James is experienced in coordinating and submitting planning applications, local plan representations, appeals and briefing Counsel, as well as public exhibitions and stakeholder consultations.

He is a keen cricketer and football fan and loves the outdoors.

Martin HarrisonBA (Hons), MArch, PgDip, RIBA
Chartered Architect

Martin is a Chartered Architect with experience working on a wide variety of projects.

After graduating from the Birmingham School of Architecture in 2008, Martin volunteered with Friends of the Earth, planning the renovation of their Birmingham premises, which became the first public building in the city to install a biomass system.  He later gained his Master’s at the University of Portsmouth where he was awarded the Hayes Prize for his thesis, exploring the symbiotic relationship between the built environment and its music.

Since joining Pro Vision in 2015, Martin has worked on a range of residential projects from single houses to large developments, but also has experience with commercial, industrial and cultural projects.  He has designed new-build schemes and works to historic buildings alike.  He enjoys this diversity and thrives on new and interesting challenges.

Outside of work, Martin enjoys elaborate DIY projects, and has recently built his own wood-fired pizza oven.

Ian WrightBA(Hons), Dip Arch, PgDip, RIBA
Associate Director

Ian is a Chartered Architect with 20 years' experience practicing architecture and has worked on many building types and at various work stages over the years.

He gained his Degree and Diploma at the University of Portsmouth and completed his Part 3 qualification at Kingston University in 2007.

Ian has worked at Hampshire County Architects, Pro Vision and Cube Design before returning to Pro Vision in 2016.

His experience is predominantly in the Residential Sector having worked on many large scale housing developments as well as some high end one-off private dwellings.  At previous practices he also gained experience working on Educational and Historic Buildings and he enjoys overcoming the creative challenges that his role brings.

Ian loves being outdoors, be it gardening, walking the dog or cycling through the forest.

Kirstin SullivanBA (Hons), MSc, MRTPI
Associate Director

Kirstin initially qualified as an Interior Designer gaining a BA (Hons) Degree at Bournemouth University in 2008. After graduating from Bournemouth she moved into a role as an Assistant Planning Officer at West Berkshire Council, where she retrained as a Town Planner studying part time at Oxford Brookes University to obtain her MSc in Spatial Planning. Kirstin was awarded the Barton Willmore Partnership Prize 2012/2013 for best individual study for her MSc dissertation on Townscape.

In 2014, after almost 6 years as a Local Authority Planning Officer, Kirstin joined Pro Vision as a Planning Consultant and became an Associate Director in 2019. During her time at Pro Vision, Kirstin joined the Royal Town Planning Institute before obtaining status as a Chartered Town Planner in 2018.

Kirstin has experience in working on a variety of schemes and is experienced in the preparation and submission of planning applications for small and large-scale residential schemes, rural planning including rural diversification, as well as public exhibitions and the promotion of sites through the development plan system. 

In her own time Kirstin enjoys playing hockey for her local club and likes to travel.

James BlakeBA (Hons), MSc, MRTPI
Senior Planner

James holds a BA (Hons) degree in Geography from the University of Leicester and an MSc in Urban and Rural Planning from the University of the West of England, Bristol. James joined Pro Vision in October 2019 as an Assistant Planner and is presently working towards becoming a Chartered Town Planner.

Before joining Pro Vision, James started his planning career as a Planning Assistant and was quickly promoted to the role of Planning Consultant at Platinum Property Partners, a property franchise company specialising in helping its Franchise Partners to set up high-quality Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) across England.

As a result, he developed a keen interest in property development and maximising ROIs through the achievement of planning permission, gaining a wide range of experience in the process related to Householder Permitted Development rights, applications for Householder Planning Permission, Certificates of Lawful Development and Full Planning applications for the change of use of residential properties into HMOs.

Outside of work, James enjoys a variety of watersports, including paddleboarding, windsurfing and kitesurfing and is currently learning to sail. James also enjoys making the most of opportunities to travel and explore new places, taking in the culture, architecture and local cuisine.

Alex HannamBSc (Hons) ACIEEM
Principal Ecologist

Alex has worked in the ecological consultancy sector for over 7 years and joined Pro Vision in February 2022. He has experience in working on a range of projects from minor housing alterations to large residential developments. The work has involved working with multiple stakeholders including homeowners, developers, architects, planners, Natural England and LPA ecologists. Projects Alex has worked on include residential, highways and research projects on behalf of Natural England.

Alex has Natural England class licences for bats and great crested newts and has held mitigation licences for a wide range of bat species and roost types. In addition to this he is experienced in preparing mitigation strategies and mitigation licences for other protected species. Alex has a particular interest in bats and is licenced to undertake specialist bat surveys such as harp trapping, tree climbing and inspection surveys as well as preliminary roost assessments and activity surveys.

Richard OsbornBA(Hons)
Associate Director

Richard graduated from the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol in 2000 with a BA(Hons) in Town & Country Planning. He followed this up with a post-graduate Bachelor of Town Planning in 2001.

After University, Richard spent a number years living in Australia and New Zealand. Richard joined Pro Vision in 2004 from Kent-based regional housebuilder, Ward Homes. 

Richard has a wide range of experience, including the preparation of planning applications for major residential developments, smaller village infill developments and one-off houses for private clients. Richard has also been involved in numerous Planning Appeals, Local Plan reviews, Neighbourhood Planning and Community Consultation events.
